These terms govern your use of the One Percent mobile and web application (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

One Percent generates short daily learning curricula using artificial intelligence. You choose a topic, we generate a multi-day curriculum, and you work through roughly one short lesson a day.
You may use the Service without an account. Creating an account lets you keep your progress across devices and recover it if you lose your device.
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where local law sets a higher minimum) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Lessons are produced by AI language models. They can be wrong.
We apply automated safety checks to generated content and refuse certain topics, but no such system is perfect.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate access that breaches these rules, and may remove content or refuse generation requests.
You keep whatever rights you have in the topics and text you enter. You grant us a limited licence to process that input in order to operate the Service — including sending it to our AI model providers to generate your curriculum, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Generated lessons are provided to you for your personal, non-commercial learning use.
Some features require a paid plan. Plans are sold through the **Apple App Store**, and Apple — not us — processes your payment.
Auto-renewing subscriptions (Monthly, Annual):
Lifetime pass: a one-time, non-consumable purchase that does not renew. It grants access to the paid features described at the time of purchase, for as long as the Service is offered. It is a limited-time offer and may be withdrawn from sale at any time; withdrawal does not affect passes already purchased.
Free trial: where offered, a free trial converts to nothing — it simply ends. We do not take payment details to start a trial, and a trial does not automatically become a paid subscription. One trial per account, ever.
Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy, and may change. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for.
Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under their terms. Request one via Apple's "Report a Problem" flow or your purchase history. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases directly. Where Singapore consumer law gives you rights that cannot be excluded, those rights still apply.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes that reduce functionality you have paid for. The Service is provided on an "as available" basis and may experience downtime, and AI provider outages can prevent generation.
You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account; deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms. If we terminate your account without cause while you hold an unexpired paid subscription, you may seek a pro-rata refund via Apple.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Singapore Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email before they take effect, and the "Last updated" date above will always reflect the current version. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and you and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
